How It Works

Fish are placed on the stainless steel chain belt conveyor and transported through a pressurized wash tunnel. Multiple high-pressure water jet nozzles positioned above, below, and on both sides spray the fish from all angles. The water pressure is precisely calibrated to lift and remove scales while leaving the underlying skin intact. Loose scales are continuously flushed away by the water flow and captured by the integrated filtration system. The scaled fish exits the tunnel ready for the next processing step — filleting, gutting, or chilling.
