Sardine heading and gutting for fish processors
Discuss your sardine nobbing requirements with LEKON for preparation before canning or further processing. Machine selection should match your fish species, size range, raw material condition and required output.
Application: sardine head and viscera removal
Planning: incoming fish, finished product and downstream process
Quotation: send fish dimensions, target throughput and factory layout
LEKON Sardine Nobbing Machine is designed for continuous processing of sardines and similar small pelagic fish. Fish are positioned in pockets and conveyed through the processing section for head and tail removal. Vacuum evisceration removes the viscera while keeping the belly closed. The resulting head-off, tail-off product can be prepared for canning or further processing.
Operators place fish into the pockets in the correct orientation.
The pocket conveyor carries each fish through the cutting section.
Head and tail are removed, followed by vacuum evisceration.
Prepared fish discharge for the next processing step.
The machine can be configured for sardines, mackerel and herring. Actual suitability depends on fish size, shape and product requirements. Tell us your fish species, length range, desired output format and target capacity so we can recommend an appropriate configuration.
What is the fish size range? Do you need fixed-length cutting for cans? What is the required throughput and available space? LEKON can review these details with you before confirming the machine configuration and specifications.
Pocket conveyor for individual fish positioning and transfer.
Combines heading, tail removal, and evisceration.
