Lekon designs and manufactures equipment for the dynamic classification of weight, used mainly for generating batches and sorting by weight.
Multi-conveyor design — separate belts for product, offal, and trim recovery
4–12+ customizable operator workstations with individual spray guns and HDPE cutting boards
VFD variable speed control — adjust conveyor pace to fillet size and operator skill
SUS304 stainless steel, 2.0mm thick — fully welded, HACCP-compliant hygienic construction
Integrated offal conveyor beneath main belt — routes trim waste to central collection
Automated belt wash system — continuous cleaning on return side prevents cross-contamination
Ergonomic workstation design — height-optimized, angled cutting boards, anti-fatigue mats
Modular expandable — bolt-on modules for future production growth without welding
Optional yield monitoring — digital scales per station with real-time data logging
Seamless line integration — connects to upstream filleting and downstream grading/packing
The LEKON Fish Trimming Line is a purpose-built multi-station conveyor system designed for high-efficiency fillet trimming, V-cutting, and quality inspection in fish processing plants. By combining multiple operator workstations with precision-controlled conveyor belts, the line maximizes throughput while giving each operator the tools and time needed to produce consistently trimmed, high-yield fillets.
Unlike standalone trimming stations, LEKON's integrated line approach connects directly to upstream filleting machines and downstream grading/packing stations, creating a seamless processing flow. Each workstation can be customized with water spray guns, offal chutes, cutting board surfaces, tool holders, and individual lighting — tailored to your specific species and production requirements.
Multi-Conveyor Design — Independent belt systems for main product flow, offal/waste removal, and optional trim collection. Keeps the work area clean and organized while maximizing valuable trim recovery.
Customizable Workstations — Configure 4 to 12+ operator positions with height-adjustable platforms, individual freshwater spray guns, HDPE cutting boards, knife sterilizer mounts, and task lighting. Every station optimized for operator comfort and productivity.
VFD Variable Speed Control — Conveyor speed is infinitely adjustable via frequency drive, allowing supervisors to match line speed to fillet size, species, and operator skill level. Typical range: 3–12 fillets per minute per operator.
SUS304 Stainless Steel Construction — 2.0mm thick food-grade stainless throughout. Fully welded frames, sloped surfaces, and open-channel design for easy washdown and HACCP compliance.
Integrated Offal Handling — Dedicated waste conveyor beneath the main belt captures trim waste and routes it to a central collection point. Optional vacuum offal system available for high-volume lines.
Belt Wash System — Automated belt cleaning nozzles at the return side of the conveyor continuously wash the belt surface, preventing cross-contamination between fillets.
Ergonomic Design — Workstation height optimized for standing operation (900–950mm standard, height-adjustable optional). Angled cutting boards reduce wrist strain. Anti-fatigue floor mats included.
Modular Expandability — Add workstations or extend conveyor length as production grows. Standard modules connect via bolted flanges — no welding required for expansion.
Yield Monitoring Ready — Optional integration with digital scales at each station for real-time yield tracking per operator. Data logging compatible with plant MES systems.
After automatic filleting, every fillet requires manual inspection and trimming — removing pin bones, excess fat, blood spots, and irregular edges. A well-designed trimming line:
Maximizes yield — Operators can focus on precision trimming rather than material handling. Trim recovery conveyors capture valuable secondary product.
Ensures quality consistency — Standardized workstations with proper lighting and tool access mean every fillet gets the same attention.
Reduces labor fatigue — Ergonomic design keeps operators productive through full shifts, reducing turnover and training costs.
Maintains cold chain — Rapid fillet flow from filleting through trimming to chilling minimizes temperature abuse.
Salmon & Trout Processing — Lines typically configured with 6–10 stations for pin bone removal, V-cutting, belly fat trimming, and final QC inspection.
Whitefish Processing — Cod, haddock, pollock, hake. Configured for skin-side trimming, parasite inspection, and portion cutting.
Sea Bass & Sea Bream — Mediterranean aquaculture species. Lighter-duty stations optimized for smaller fillets.
Tilapia & Pangasius — High-volume lines with 10–12 stations for rapid trimming of smaller fillets.
